Ward 4 Project: Waterloo Ave. & East 2nd Street Improvements Waterloo Vicintiy Map


Project Scope:

Improvements include installing approximately 550 ft. of heavy duty pavement with curb and gutter on S Waterloo including drainage improvements along the west side of the roadway. Intersection improvements at Waterloo Ave and E 2nd Street.  Approximately 1750 ft of E 2nd Street will to re-constructed to the heavy duty design section, with associated open ditch drainage improvements. Widening will occur at the intersection of E 2nd Street and S Elmira for a northbound turn lane.

Multiple Right of ways for drainage improvements and the widening of East 2nd Street for the turn lane at S Elmira Ave and subsequent intersection improvements and the intersection improvements at S Waterloo Ave and E 2nd Street.  – Project Phased waiting on USA Army Reserve Right of Way.

Ward 3 Project: South Tampa Ave. & South Utica Ave. Drainage Systems Improvements

Project Scope:

Improvements include installing approximately 2000 ft. of properly sized storm sewer culverts and inlets to replace the undersized pipes and open channels in the side yards of the residential lots.  This will also include improvements made to the storm sewer network in the existing street to contain the design flow within the right of way.  This will include additional inlets as necessary to capture the flow in the street reducing the potential of structural damage and reducing the width of flow in the street during typical rain events.
