Message from the Chief

On behalf of the men and women of the Russellville Police Department, I would like to welcome you to our official website. Our goal is to provide our community with as much information as possible about their police department and the programs and services we provide to our visitors and citizens. It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Chief of Police and represent all members of this department who are dedicated to professionalism, safety, and community relations.

As of 2025, the Russellville Police Department includes sixty eight authorized sworn officers and five civilian personnel. The command staff includes three Assistant Chiefs who oversee the following divisions: Patrol Operations, Criminal Investigations, and Administration. The operational components in each division are supervised by a lieutenant and sergeant. Because of our great working relationship with the Russellville School District, we have school resource officers assigned to the Russellville High and Junior High schools, as well as the elementary and middle schools.

We have special operational components that consist of K9 handlers, drone operators, a crime suppression unit, and bike patrol which enhances our capabilities and service to the community. As a department, we continuously strive to research and implement programs that enhance our ability to provide professional law enforcement services that are in line with our mission.

The Russellville Police Department is dedicated to reaching the highest standards of professionalism through the use of the most current policies, procedures, training, and technology. Our team works hard to maintain a level of excellence, which is exhibited by our state accreditation through the Arkansas Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP). Beyond responding to calls for service, traffic enforcement, and criminal investigations, we take an active role in engaging with our community by partnering with many of our community stakeholders with the numerous community events that allow such positive interaction.

We value our community partnerships and strive to achieve cooperation, trust, and the confidence of those we serve. The men and women of the Russellville Police Department work hard each day to fulfill this mission. Thank you for your interest in our website, and I encourage you to visit each page to learn more about our department and the resources that may be of interest to you. If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our department.
